Job Description
Rush Expediting, a second-generation, family-owned logistics company, is looking for an experienced, reliable, and professional CDL Class A Driver to join our Columbus terminal team. This position is a hybrid 2nd shift role, typically starting around 2pm - 4pm and running approximately 8–10+ hours per shift. Job Requirements
Valid Class A CDL with air brakes endorsement Live within 30–40 minutes of our Columbus terminal HazMat & Tank endorsements preferred (must agree to obtain HazMat upon hire) Clean MVR and CSA score (no 15+ mph speeding tickets; no more than 2 moving violations in 12 months or 3 in 3 years) Minimum of 18 months of verifiable experience, in the last 3 years with no more than 3 employers, driving a tractor-trailer. Valid DOT Medical Card & ability to pass a DOT drug screen Knowledge of DOT hours-of-service rules Able to work in all weather conditions Able to lift, push, or pull up to 75 lbs without assistance Positive attitude & strong customer service skills
