Responsibilities
- Main duties are route delivery but includes some warehouse duties, spotting trucks, etc.
- Fingerprint 400-600 cases per day, highly physical, touch freight.
- Some deliveries require going up and down stairs.
- Work in refrigerated environments inside and outdoor elements, year-round.
- Route delivery, driver unload using ramp and 2-wheel hand cart
- Touch freight, case delivery of food-grade products to restaurants, schools, and end users
- Drive 22'-26' box truck with airbrakes to transport materials and equipment to specific route destinations
- Secure pallets using straps. Strap and unstrap at each delivery.
- Document pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Manage hours of service (HOS) and ensure DOT compliance
- Use of keys, alarm codes, tablets, etc. for overnight deliveries
- Provide excellent customer service
- Checking mechanical aspects of the vehicle
- Reporting maintenance/repair issues on tractors and trailers

Requirements
- Must be a minimum of 21 years old.
- Hold a valid Driver´s License from any state in the United States of America.
- Minimum 1 year delivery experience required.
- Local, multiple-stop delivery using ramp and hand cart is highly preferred.
- Must be able to obtain DOT Medical Card and be able to pass pre-employment DOT drug and criminal background screen.
- Be in excellent physical condition and be able to stand, sit, kneel, bend, lift, push, pull for extended periods and have normal use of senses.
- Able to work in all types of environments and under difficult conditions; hot, cold, dust, indoors, outdoors.
- Legally eligible to work in the U.S.
- Must be able to read, speak, write, and understand English.
- Must pass pre-hire drug screen and physical.
- Be able to lift, push, pull 50 pounds with no assistance.
