Job Description
  • Inspect, diagnose, and repair potato piler equipment, electrical systems, and other components.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and inspections.
  • Keep the shop clean, organized, and free of hazards.
  • Site work at potato cellars to keep equipment operating.
  • Maintain and repair small tractors.
  • Help relocate pilers between cellars.
Job Requirements
  • 1+ years of experience in diesel mechanics or working with heavy-duty trucks preferred (but willing to train the right candidate).
  • Basic mechanical knowledge and use of hand/power tools.
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various weather conditions.
  • CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) is a plus but not required.
  • Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
