Job Description
|
Join Sentinel's Dynamic team in Hartford, IL as a Diesel Mechanic.
- Day Shift with a 5/2 Schedule
- Competitive Hourly Rate
- Pay Rate: $29 - $43 Per Hour
About the Job:
- Perform repairs and essential preventative maintenance on semi-tractors, semi-cargo tank trailers, and related cutting-edge shop equipment.
- Troubleshoot and conduct comprehensive failure analysis of component parts and systems. Your skills will be the driving force behind our success.
- Inputting purchase and repair data into the maintenance software program (TMT).

Job Requirements
|
Experience Requirements:
- Class 8 tractor knowledge required; experience with tank trailers is a plus.
- Preferred knowledge of maintenance software (TMT - will train)
- Preferably meets qualifications to perform FMSCA annual inspections
- Preferred possession of a Clean MVR - Class A CDL (for road tests to verify repairs only)
- Successful completion of a physical, drug test, and criminal background check is required
