Schedule: Tuesday–Saturday, 6:00 PM–6:00 AM
- Coordinate daily milk pickups from dairy farms
- Communicate with farms, drivers, and customers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
- Dispatch drivers and track loads throughout the shift
- Monitor milk supply and demand and make necessary adjustments to delivery schedules
- Maintain accurate delivery and customer order records
- Monitor milk sample temperatures
- Resolve delivery issues, delays, and other conflicts in a timely manner
- Ensure safe milk-handling practices
- Follow federal and state regulations related to dairy production and transportation
- Assist with improving dispatch processes and operational efficiency
- Perform other related duties as assigned

- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 2 years of dispatch or logistics experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Google Docs and transportation management software; PCS experience is a plus
- Knowledge of federal and state transportation regulations
- Must obtain and maintain a milk handler certification
- Willingness to work weekends, holidays, on-call, and after-hours as needed
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to sit for extended periods and perform physical activities including bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, squatting, reaching overhead, and lifting up to 25 pounds. |
