Job Description
Starting Pay: $25.61-34.43 Per Hour* 
MUTIPLE SCHEDULES AVAILABLE:

Monday to Friday 4:25 PM to 9:20 PM – BLOCK PAID AT 5 HOURS DAILY & Sunday 9:20 PM to 1:30 AM (Tractor Trailer)

Monday to Friday 5:30 PM to 8:55 PM – BLOCK PAID AT 5 HOURS DAILY; Saturday 2:50 PM to 9:00 PM (Tractor Trailer)

FLOATER NEEDED – DRIVER MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK AM, PM AND WEEKEND SCHEDULES - ALSO WOULD BRING ON 2 PT DRIVERS AS WELL, IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR WEEKEND WORK ONLY (Tractor Trailer & Box Truck)

*Tractor Trailer Pay: $28.27 in Regular Hourly Pay + $6.16 in Health & Wellness Pay (paid up to 40 hours per week) – Health & Wellness Pay is used to offset monthly health insurance premiums. Health & Wellness pay is added to your paycheck no matter if you choose insurance or not.
*Box Truck Pay: $25.61 in Regular Hourly Pay + $6.16 in Health & Wellness Pay (paid up to 40 hours per week) – Health & Wellness Pay is used to offset monthly health insurance premiums. Health & Wellness pay is added to your paycheck no matter if you choose insurance or not.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Drivers must arrive on time daily.
  • Drivers must inspect the truck before, during, and after the run for problems. (pre-trip/post-trip) (DVIR) Notify the local operations manager of any issues.
  • Complete job daily within guidelines of company procedures and policies, as well as federal and state regulations of operating motor vehicles.
  • Report any delays (weather, traffic, breakdowns) that will interfere with on-time arrival at postal facilities.

Job Requirements
  • A minimum of at least 1 year of driving a tractor trailer experience within the last 5 years
  • Possess valid CDL-A
  • Must be at least 23 years of age or older.
  • Must meet company driving standards and maintain an acceptable motor vehicle record in accordance with applicable law.
  • Employment is contingent upon successful completion of all USPS and federally required pre-employment screenings.
  • Must be able to perform frequent lifting and pushing/pulling wheeled carts up to 100lbs**
  • Must pass a DOT Physical and Pre-employment drug test (company paid)
  • Proficient in basic computer skills
** Drivers may be required to load, unload, sort, and handle cargo to and from trailers by hand or by use of mechanical equipment such as carts or a pallet jack. The driver must be able to bend, stoop, twist, climb and move freely in the handling of cargo that may weigh more than 100 pounds. The driver must be able to lift from 60 – 100 pounds. The driver must be able to lift 60 pounds over the head and must be able to exert a minimum of 70 pounds pull pressure on the 5th wheel lock and trailer tandem release.  The driver must be able to safely maneuver a cart weighing up to 500 pounds.
