Job Description
The Over The Road Driver will be required to drive safely and deliver the product as expected.  The driver is expected to know all the federal laws and regulations regarding the safe operation of a commercial vehicle.  The driver is expected to be presentable, courteous, and maintain a reasonable delivery schedule.  It is the responsibility of the driver to keep the vehicle in maximum operational condition and to report to dispatch any traffic infraction, any accident, or any type of mechanical failure.  It is the driver’s responsibility to keep the cab area clean and clutter free at all times.  
 
Job Requirements
JOB DESCRIPTION: Over the Road Driver
 
Driver Qualifications:
  • Have a class CDL A
  • Must be able to pass a DOT pre-employment drug test, DOT physical & DOT Road test
  • No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years
  • Must be able to operate EOBR device; HOS & Messaging with dispatch
  • Must be able to drive 48 states and to be dispatched at any time
  • Must be able to communicate with Wellborn Cabinet’s customers, Customer Service and Transportation
  • Must be able to lift over a 100 pounds and tailgate cabinets to the end of the trailer
  • Must be able to operate a hand-held scan gun for distributing cabinets
  • Complete monthly safety training video’s online
  • Must be able to climb into and out of power unit and trailer
  • For flat-bed drivers, they must be able to tarp and un-tarp material as needed
