Job Description
|
- Deliver Ready Mix Concrete to the customers and job sites in a safe and timely manner.
- Visually inspect concrete mix for correct slump, and constituents.
- Performs pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure safe operation of truck and mixer.
- Completes all paperwork that may be necessary; assist with plant work as required by plant management.
- Assemble concrete chutes and operate chute controls during the pour.
- Communicates truck/job status to dispatch.
- Work with customers on site to achieve maximum customer service.
- Maintain superior public relations in the performance of duties.
- Observe all safety precautions and rules/laws specified by site, city, state, federal and Company regulations and policies.

Job Requirements
|
- Good driving record
- Good attendance and punctuality a must
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Commercial Driver's License Class A or B
- Proficient reading, writing, and math skills
- 1-2 years vehicle road experience operation of a commercial vehicle
- Successfully pass a 7 year criminal background check
- Must be able to work flexible schedule with flexible hours, hours vary; overtime work, weekends, and nights may be required.
- Ability to lift and assemble concrete chutes weighing 60 lbs
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend for extended period of time
- Must have the initiative to be able to work without direct supervisor and be a team player
