Job Requirements: What We’re Looking For
We’re excited to bring on dedicated Jockey/Forklift Operators to join our team in Reidsville, NC. Whether you’re eyeing a full-time or part-time gig, here’s what we need from you:
- Driving Experience: No Class A CDL required—just a minimum of 6 months of previous Class A driving experience or 6 months of jockey experience to show you’ve got the skills.
- Forklift Skills: This job includes forklift work, so you’ll need to be forklift certified. Not certified yet? No sweat—DRT will get you trained and certified!
- Safe Driving Record:
- No more than 3 moving violations in the past 36 months.
- No more than 2 moving violations in the past 12 months.
- A clean record with no serious preventable accidents in the past 3 years.
- Company-Sponsored DOT Physical: We’ve got you covered—initial and renewal DOT physicals are on us.
- Tech-Savvy: You’ll use your smartphone for simple tasks like texting, emailing, scanning paperwork, and snapping photos.
- Age: You’re at least 23 years old and ready to roll.
