NOW HIRING: CDL Box Truck / Stake Bed Driver – Dayton, OH

Rush Expediting, a trusted, family-owned logistics company serving Ohio for over 40 years, is looking for a full-time CDL Box Truck / Stake Bed Driver for immediate hire in the Dayton area.
We offer local & regional routes with many of the same customers each day — and you’ll be home every night. This is steady, year-round work with excellent pay, great benefits, and a company that treats you like family.
Compensation
  • Average $52,000+ annually
  • $21/hour + overtime after 50 hours paid at $31.50/hour (based on a 52–54 hour week)
  • $2.50/hour extra when dispatched on stake bed/flatbed loads
  • $1,000 Sign-On Bonus (paid as soon as 2 weeks after hire!)

Schedule
  • Primarily Monday–Friday, daytime hours
  • Occasional weekend work available for extra pay
  • Local & regional routes – home every night
  • Occasional retail store deliveries with early AM start times (3–6 AM) when needed

Job Requirements
  • Valid CDL License
  • 2 years of verifiable experience in the last 5 years driving a 24’–26’ box truck & stake bed/flatbed
  • Clean MVR & CSA score (no more than 2 moving violations in 12 months, or 3 in 3 years; no 15+ mph speeding violations in last 3 years)
  • Live within 30–45 minutes of Dayton terminal
  • DOT Medical Card & ability to pass DOT drug screen
  • HazMat & Tank endorsements preferred (must obtain HazMat within 3–6 months; Rush reimburses full cost)
  • Able to lift, push, or pull up to 70 lbs without assistance
  • Positive attitude & strong customer service skills
